This is why it is so important to keep good heading control in your hover taxi. If the engine quits, you need to be able to set it right down onto the ground. You will have to add right pedal when the engine quits, as the torque from the engine is gone. Maintain the collective pitch until the aircraft begins to settle, and then add collective pitch to cushion the landing. I recommend practicing the hover taxi auto with commercial students especially. If you keep the nose straight any time you are doing a hover taxi, you may just prevent a rollover one day if the engine quits.
