Inadvertent Flight Into Instrument Meteorological Conditions: Part2

One of the leading causes for helicopter accidents today is VFR flight into IFR conditions. This is part 2, of a two part discussion.

Brian Rutledge presents "Inadvertent IMC". As a law enforcement helicopter pilot, Brian is passionate about teaching IMC avoidance to VFR helicopter pilots under his command. He is a very experienced  law enforcement helicopter pilot and is the Operations Manager at Helicopter Online Ground School. He encourages every pilot to work towards the instrument rating, even if they do not plan to fly instrument rated helicopters. The knowledge gained may just save the life of a VFR flight that inadvertently goes IMC. Helicopter Online Ground School has a video course to ease the stress of learning all there is to know for the instrument rating. Check out the Instrument Pilot Course. Even if you do not plan on getting the rating, the information is valuable and the course is FAA approved for Wings Phase credits as well.
