Right here is our middle seat for when you're having a pilot plus two passengers. To put the controls back in, we remove the seat cushion. We've got a hole right here in the top for a pin and a notch here that goes inside to lock the control in. Pull up, the pin stays back here on a little wire. We insert the pin, we get the hole lined up, push the top of the pin down to lock it in, and that's how we install the collective. Once it's down, make sure the throttle works correctly, and then on the preflight, we'll release the collective and make sure it's all working. That it's firmly in place, pin's in there, that was working, and here we go. Now we'll move on to the pedals.

We have the collective firmly in place, now we're going to reinstall the pedals. Put the pins in here, when we remove them, so that we don't lose them, so we take them back out, insert here. There's three different positions you can put it in. The majority of the time, the center position works pretty good. We put the pin through this way. The holes line up, push the pin through, and then we put the locking pin here so they won't catch on your feet. Take this out, slide it in there, center position, and lock in the pin. Nice and secure, ready to go.

We have the pedals reinstalled, the collective reinstalled, now we're going to reinstall the cyclic, which slides right in here on top, and we have two separate pins. We have another pin for this side. Plug this back in so we can use our radios. Nice and secure. There we go. Controls back in.

Helicopter Online Ground School was founded by Kenny Keller in 2012. He is the author of "Helicopter Check-Ride", which made Amazon #1 best seller upon release. His online video courses include Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, and Instrument Pilot. Kenny recognized a lack of quality ground training within the industry and has created a video learning platform to compliment any part 61 or 141 flight school program.

All four of these courses are FAA approved for WINGS and appear on the FAA safety website as approved online courses.

The Certified Flight Instructor membership includes access to all of the Private Pilot and Commercial Pilot videos as well, giving the Certified Flight Instructor membership over 40 hours of video to watch. The courses include information on all subject areas, to include the fundamentals of instructing.

Each course includes both practice written test questions and oral check ride questions.

Members have access to a closed Facebook group to network.
